Martin and his wife Jessica founded The Loan Room in 2011 and from humble beginnings, have grown the company to become one of the market leaders in Victoria.
As an avid property investor, with a real passion for seeing people reach their goal of home ownership and financial freedom, Martin has the ability to see solutions and possibilities where others may not. He brings extensive knowledge and experience to all his clients and it’s his passion, combined with a desire to deliver personalised, individual service that sets Martin and The Loan Room apart from other mortgage brokers.
Martin, his wife and their three children enjoy getting outdoors and heading to their favourite beach location where you’ll often find him swimming in the ocean – even in the middle of winter! He loves supporting his kids with their many hobbies including basketball and horse riding.
Jessica is a cornerstone piece of The Loan Room, being a Co-Founder with her husband Martin Bennett. A mother of three children and fitness enthusiast, she applies her ability to manage and organise teams to help bring culture and strategic relationships together which enhances the experience of our clients, business partnerships and the team at TLR. Jessica also oversees the full operations and strategic vision of The Loan Room.
With a young family of his own, Glen understands that buying your first home, investment property or refinancing are all big financial commitments. He has been a banking and finance professional for more than 20 years and has extensive experience working with home buyers. As an active property investor, Glen, enjoys working closely with his clients to understand their specific needs and ensures that they’re informed and supported every step of the way. Glen enjoys playing local cricket and is an avid Melbourne Football Club supporter.
With a small business background and customer centric approach, David likes to focus on educating his clients along their investment journey. After a positive experience he had using a mortgage broker, David committed to providing excellent service and catering for all clients. He believes in providing a positive and informative experience and is dedicated to navigating each client’s financial journey. On the weekends David enjoys spending time with his fiancé, their dog Alfie and playing/watching sport.
Brie’s love of property stems from a background in real estate and experience growing her own investment portfolio. The value that Brie brings to her clients is weighted by her genuine care to achieve a successful outcome. With great strengths in her creativity, organisation and impeccable eye for detail, Brie is driven in all aspects, continually striving to better each area of the loan process. Outside of finance, Brie and her partner make the most of the outdoors and exploring anywhere their two blue heelers are welcome.
Loar’s drive for helping clients succeed comes from an unfortunate experience his parents had when purchasing their family home. His objective is to help individuals not only navigate but become educated through the process of purchasing property. Loar speaks an impressive three languages: English, Arabic and Dinka and prides himself on his customer service to go above and beyond for his clients. In his spare time, Loar enjoys trying new restaurants and watching the basketball.
Ash has a Diploma in Financial Planning and is passionate about putting her clients first. Once your loan is approved, Ash handles all post approval requirements, including signing loan documents and coordinating settlement on our client’s behalf supporting them through their financial journey. Ash’s goal is to provide our clients with a superior customer service experience. Outside of work, Ash enjoys the outdoors and loves going out for dinner.
Tania has over 15 years’ experience working within the finance industry. Her extensive knowledge processing home loans and working with banks means she can focus on communicating with clients. Tania enjoys spending time with her family on holidays and exploring new places.
